The Life of a Psychic: Dreams

Psychic Kimberly’s eyes opened from a deep sleep. Today, her dream put a smile on her face. She awakened from a version of the world, a dream world, where she was knee deep in doing readings at various fairs. Psychics were tagged ‘Readers’. The fairs’ floor was packed tightly with readers’ tables. So close that each reader was in earshot of another reader. Sage, lavender, Nag champ, palo santo and other mystical scents filled the air. Just heavenly! The sounds of chairs squeaking as readers adjust seats for themselves and their sitters, cards shuffling, and the prayers being sent out to the universe were like music to her ears. Each table decorated in a way to signal something about the Reader. Beautiful crystals and stones adorned some tables. Perfect flower arrangements welcomed sitters. Intricate multi-colored patterned tablecloths adorned many tables. Some psychics may find this setup a challenge, but Kimberly thrived in this type of high energy environment. The closeness forced her or reminded her to focus on what she was there to provide – wonderful readings for each and every sitter. She smiled because it was an omen of the future and a happy memory all in one dream.

Kimberly’s dreams are always related to her life – always. Dream experts have shared multiple purposes for our dreams.
  1.  Working through a problem
  2. Creating a vision for the future
  3. Uncovering fears
  4. Triumphing over fears
  5. Prophesy
  6. Rest for the brain
  7. Slowing down the brain so that our soul can do its work. This is when we are the most vulnerable to outside thoughts projected into our minds.
  8. A place to meet our guides, guardian angels, deceased loved ones and other entities
  9. Past life experiences
  10. A myriad of other reasons
Dreams can be full of universal symbols. Symbols can have simple or complex meanings. Dream dictionaries are useful tools to help the curious determine the possible meaning of a dream. “The problem with this is that the meaning of your house in your dream may have a very different meaning of the house in the dream dictionary. Dream dictionaries are starting points but by no means are they the ending point of your quest to understand your dream. Your dream is unique to you. You are unique and your dream is uniquely yours. Dream groups help each attendee to understand the possible meaning of each other’s dreams. Dream analyst hold private consultations for those whose dreams are disturbing and causes the dreamer stress during their day. Repetitive dreams – good, neutral, upsetting – are worth dream analysis.

Dreams are a fertile ground for exploring your psychic personality. Journal your dreams. Pay close attention to the words you used to describe the dream. List what seemed to be in focus during the dream.

  1. Describe the environment. Were you in a room, outside in nature, in a car, boat, etc.? Describe the physical surroundings
  2. Describe the people and animals. Are these people familiar to you? Unknown to you? List any animals. Is it a personal pet or some other animal?
  3. Describe how you felt during the dream: Each prominent emotion is important to note in your journal.
  4. Looking at the combination of descriptions and the concurrent emotions, all yourself to ask questions about the dream scenario. The responses that arise will lead you to understand the dream and how it is meant to guide or heal you.
  5. Write the moral of the story from the dream. Even if you have to force yourself to make up the moral of the dream, do so. Your soul and guides will work with you during your dreams so that the message-moral of the story is more obvious.
Disciplined dream journalist overtime experience dreams that have very little symbolic language. Dream dictionaries are no longer needed. The dreams clearly are understood. They know the language of their dreams.

Dreams are forms of energetic messages that coalesce into scenes that we can interpret if we choose to. Psychic abilities interpret energy that result in energetic messages that look very much like dreams in the mind of the psychic. Seeing energetic messages in the mind is a popular psychic method called clairvoyance. Dreams allow us to experience our five physical senses (seeing, hearing, tasting, feeling, smelling) in a sleep state. Psychics can experience the senses without a physical source through clairvoyance (seeing), clairaudience (hearing), clairgustance (taste), clairsentience and clairalience (smell).

Re-read Kimberly’s dream. Identify where and how clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairgustance and clairaudience were part Kimberly’s dream experience.

The moral of this story is that there is a psychic development tool called “Dream journaling” that will accelerate and even expand your psychics gifts. Make this an important part of your life as a psychic.
